lilo - hidden fat32 partition

Welcome everyone

I have a quite difficult problem. i have 2 operating systems on the same disk
knoppix and win98. And it is partitioned like this:
/dev/hda1 - ext3 knoppix
/dev/hda2 - fat32 win98 (system)
/dev/hda3 - linux swap
/dev/hda4 - fat32 win98 (storage)

for a long time both linux and win were recognising partitons /dev/hda2 and
/dev/hda4 as unhidden. However some time ago a had to install lilo through "liloconfig"
from that time partition /dev/hda4 is hidden and win 98 don't see it. Do You
have any suggestions to options in lilo.conf to make lilo unhide this partition I've tried something like this:

 other=/dev/hda1
  label=Win98
  table=/dev/hda
  change
  automatic
  partition=/dev/hda1
  set=dos16_big_normal
  activate
  partition=/dev/hda4
  set=dos16_big_normal
  activate

it didn't work. however i'm not sure in line set= the fstype for fat32
another thing is that my disk is 40GB but my motherboard supports disks only to 32 GB and nothing after this limit can be used. however this partitions doesn't cross this limit

I don't quite understand what you've done there. Lilo only needs info on partititions you want to boot from. So I only have this in /etc/lilo.conf to boot win2k:
other=/dev/hda1
label="Windows2K(hda1)"

As for the 32GB limit, do you have an Award bios or Matrox hd?
