    Knoppix Fails to boot

    Knoppix works fine on my pc, just getting it to work on my laptop has been impossible (i know linux support for laptops isn't great) it starts to boot and detects the hardware then fails when it gets to "Starting Advanced Power Management Daemon"

    Optima Centoris

    anyway to disable the daemon?
