Problems with Toshiba Satelite PRO4600 and Knoppix 2.4

I just try knoppix 2.4 cd but with my satelite pro4600 i only get a smaller screen with 800x600. The graphicchip is a trident cyberblade xp with 16MB and the screen is 1024x768. i have already tryed fb1024x768 without success. I also have tryed xf86config (runlevel2) with graphic 530=cyberblade but i cant´s start X after the modification.

How can i get my toshiba to use 1024x768.

there stands with vga=791 in /etc/lilo.conf it works at 1024x768??

When i try xf86config there is no 791 ??????????

Try passing that parameter on boot like so:

knoppix vga=791 (plus any other cheatcodes you may need to get it working)
