Dual booting Win98, SuSE and Knoppix

Hi!
I have win98 on the first primary partion on my HD, this is the active partition. then comes swap and then SuSE. I have a 5GB partion for installing Knoppix, but I have a few Qs

1) What is the difference between 'Knoppix system like CD' and 'Debain-like'?
2) I have win98 so I do not want to install boot loader into MBR. SuSE installed Grub on it\s partition, what options should I pick to simply add Knoppix to the already existing boot loader?
