Installing Linux-From-Scratch with Knoppix 3.4

Hi.

I'm using Knoppix 3.4 to try and install Linux-From-Scratch.

Problem:...
There is no 'expect' command available... the 'command not found' error shows. Linux from scratch says it needs a working PTY from the host (Knoppix) but I can't find any documentation to fix this.

Can someone please help?

FYI

I know absolutely nothing about LFS but simply browsing the packages.txt shows me that expect is not included in Knoppix. Interstingly enough Kanotix does have expect.

dpkg -l|grep expect
ii expect 5.41.0-1 A program that "talks" to other programs
ii expectk 5.41.0-1 A Tk/X11 version of the expect program
