Automount symlinks/Captive
I vaguely remember awhile ago when using some version of Knoppix (I'm using Debian normally) that the automount did not cause the drives to thrash every time 'ls' was run in /mnt and the symlinks for automount looked at, but only when the user followed them. How was this done?
Also, are there .deb packages for the ntfs-captive stuff?
Thanks.
