i've read a lot of howtos, the man pages and some books...also tried in other forums and on google but still browsing at 56k (
i got an adsl modem (ethernet/usb siemens) from telecom italy and launched adslpppoeconfig knoppix tool...it worked...the connection was on but when i started browsing couldn't reach no host...then edit etc/resolv/conf and changed the dns with the ones the provider gave me...got same problem...also tried with the rp-ppoe config tool and the story was the same

and this what i get when i tried to access the host of the provider for the first registration which alloes me to use dsl
pliz help me...for this and other reasons (all ok now) i cannot browse with dsl from 1 month
