first timer needs help with mkisofs

Hi all

I have read a lot about remastering knoppix on the past few days, butI am facing a problem.

What are the correct parameters to pass to mkisofs when creating the compressed filesystem?

Even with -U, i got some translating mainly in the apt database...

Am I missing some standard exclude list?
