Hotplug after HDD install

Hi,

I have a Knoppix 3.6 hdd install and the hotplugging doesnt seem to work any more.
Of course the hotplug works fine when I boot from the CD.
Any suggestions?

AFAIK the hotplugging works with Beginner or Knoppix style install but not with Debian style. What are you trying to hotplug? If just something like a USB thumbdrive you can create a desktop icon and a line in fstab.
