hi
i am using knoppix 3.6.
to access the internet i use a intel pro/wireless lan 2100 card. but there is no automatic detection by knoppix.
i can i get it running. i am not an experienced linux-user
thank 4 any help

(btw: i cannot copy/paste the lspci-list yet, coz i cannot access the internet while linux is running)

Don't know about wlan but you can save the output of lspci to a file like so:
lspci -v > some_filename
Then save it on a floppy or somesuch and post it via windows.
ipw2100 should work for that one, it is included in knoppix, you may have to manually load the modules.
Ndiswrapper may work for you.
from what i can tell, its detected, and seemingly configureable via wavelan. just haven't got it to work yet.
as root
# modprobe ipw2100
# pump -i eth1
then run # wlcardconfig
