Missing title bars on windows in KDE

I have created the CD, worked through the HW detection issues that were keeping my maching from booting, but now when my KDE desktop comes up, none of the windows have title bars. So, I cannot move them or close them.

If I switch to another window manager such as Window Maker, the windows work just fine. But, I would rather the KDE.

Has anyone seen this before? Is there a known resolution? I have searched the websites, FAQs, and forums.

try pressing ALT-F3 while having any of the kde windows open. I believe that that will open a menue where you can select to have the title bars always shown. I'm not sure why this is set for you system wide..

My suspicion is that there also has to be kde menu setting somewhere where you can enable title bars.

Brows through kde control center...see if you can find something there
