How2 install KNOPPIX to NFS booted PC (diskless)?

Hi all:

A small question is here
my pc is booted from an nfs server(redhat9), it has a cdrom and nic.
nfs server exports root(/) to me ,And I has the WRITE permission to
the remote nfs server.
how do i install the knoppix on my pc.

my idea:
Boot my pc with knoppix cd, then mount remote nfs to my pc's (/mnt/nfs)
remove all file at root(/),then cp /usr /lib /etc /dev to the /mnt/nfs
is that ok?
