Sound Card Problem

Hello!
Knoppix is splendid, but I have a problem with my PC sound card "Aureal Vortex AU8830" which is not recognized by it.
I would be grateful if somebody could give me a helping hand letting me know where I can find a suitable driver and which way I can install it in the hard disk just to have it ready after Knoppix boot.
