CAN'T COMPLETE HD INSTALL, SERIOUS ISSUES!!!

I can't complete a hard drive install of knoppix v. 3.4 or 3.6. When i run any of the scripts it says i need to partition my hd. so i try and do that but it tells me i have no permission to write to drive - read only or something along those lines.

I have a 120 gig. WD HD if that has anything to do with it..

try this:
ignore_check=1 sudo knoppix-installer

[firebyrd10]

try this:
ignore_check=1 sudo knoppix-installer

Exacly, you need to run it in root or else it won't work.

Just type su so everything will be run in root
