i cant seem to use my cdrom after i did the hd install using sudo knoppix-installer
usb drives seems to work but not my cdrom... i used that same cdrom to install it to hd... but how come it doesnt work now?

Well if yours was like mine for some reason it is scsi actually you can use dmesg | more to find out just look for your cdrom device and see if it says /dev/sr0 instead of the other. Then you can correct it with a change in /etc/fstab. Atleast that is something to go on. Good lluck.
does it work with the 2.4 kernel but not the 2.6? I had to make a link for the 2.6 kernel.
