Hi, i was doing the GTA3 tutorial on linux gamers and i accidently did chmod -R 755 / but i realized that i was changing the enter root directories permissions now whenever i start KDE doesnt start and gives me the error /etc/init.d/xsession start how can i undo what i did? thnx

This does not answer your question, and i hesitate to even mention it, but you may want to change your subject line vernacular to indicate a technical description of the problem you are experiencing. I like to use profanity as much (sometimes more) than the any other north american, but in the forum i try to maintain a more mainstream approach.
So in answer to your question... is this a hard drive install? If so, my thought would be to backup your home directory and reinstall rather than trying to fix things.
I'm assuming this happed while using the root shell, as i have done similar things while (mis) using the root account, and have found it best to mark it up to experience, reinstall, and to be more careful in the future.
