Change default boot options

Love Knoppix. I need to be able to change the default boot options from what the standard ISO delivers. I'm using only windows and I need to edit the isolinux.cfg file and then burn the updated ISO. Can anyone explain to me how to do that? I tried using Isobuster to extract all the files from the original ISO, change isolinux to my liking, then burn the modified ISO, but it doesn't work.

Also, where can I change the timeout value for when you boot Knoppix and it kicks in with the default boot options?
