Hey everybody!

i just downloaded knoppix and i had never ever used linux before...my english is not the best but i hope you're patient and answere my questions... (and i'm really embarassed to ask them...) you should know, i only use computers for working (internet, office) i have nothing to do with programming or something like this...what i want to say is: actually i don't know nearly anything about computers...but i want to learn...

so please...my printer, a lexmark z22 does not work. i controlled all the cables the installation was successfull, but the printer does not recieve any data. there is no error-warning, nothing. it just doesn't work...what could be the problem?

and...how can i open files from a cd-rom? if i click on the cd/dvdrom button there is an error warning...

i know, my questions are stupid, but basic...thanx so much for your help!
