KDE Access and User Accounts

This is my first experience with Linux of any kind so youll have to excuse my ignorance

I Plan on using this box as a webserver for pic and stuff so for Security reasons I tried to create user accounts and alter default Knopper User or create another but keep getting asked for KDE password. What is it?

Please help...anyone!!

If you have root acces, knoppix or any user password isn't important

In a terminal/konsole (root) you can type:

passwd username

and it will ask for the password for the username
