sudo cfdisk?
I'm using Knoppix v3.6 for harddisk installation on VMWare Workstation 4.5.2 (b884on a WinXp Pro SP2 host.
When I start the installing (sudo knoppix installer), the installer detects the empty hdd space and offers to partition the hdd. But when I am going to write a new partition table it simply freezes. The strange thing is that it worked fine two days ago?!
Any Ideas?
Cheers
Chris
Edit (couple of minutes later): qtparted did not like the simulated SCSI harddisk (recommended for Linux installation in VMWare). However, when switching to an IDE simulation it works fine.
sudo cfdisk?
cfdisk?! ok, maybe worth to have a look at.
Thanks
Chris
