I've booted 3.4 and 3.7 on a PII/400 with no problems.

lspci shows 2 Intel Ethernet Pro 100 network cards

ifconfig just shows the lo interface

ifconfig eth0 shows the specs but no ip address

ditto for ifconfig eth1

pump fails

I tried /etc/init.d/networking restart with no change

/etc/network/interfaces only shows the lo lines, no eth0 or eth1

netcardconfig shows both cards but dhcp broadcast fails on both. I've only got eth0 plugged in atm but I wanted to be thorough.

Any suggestions?
