hi,
i have been trying to Create a user in miniroot.gz so that i could boot to my id in the re-mestered cd instead of the deafult knoppix.
i have made changes in init.d./xsession and have also create the /home/newuser in linux rc file, the problem now that it shows while booting kde is unable to write file due to mismatch in permission.

I know, this is being reported because of no user named "newuser".

could anyone please help. how do i create a user such as "newuser" much like knoppix.

It would be great help.
