2.6 Kernel option in Knoppix 3.6

Hello Friends

I would like to install Knoppix 3.6 onto my HDD. Knoppix 3.6 has got kernel 2.6 as an option. What should i do to install kernel 2.6 instead of using 2.4? Should i pass any parameters along with the install script hd-install ?

Knoppix will install both kernel on your system.
When done with knoppix hd installation, you will be represented with
Lilo(boot loader) that has options for you to select which kernel you want to boot.
