please help, error on ./configure while compiling vyqchat

i downloaded source files of vyqchat, a linux variant of vypress chat program for windows, and a get an error when i try to compile (./configure).

could anyone tell me whats wrong and how i can fix it?

Well it looks to me as though it tells you exactly what the problem is. No QT installation. So... looks like you have to install QT. How? I dunno - don't use it but you can look on trolltech. I presume this is an hdd installation? You cannot install QT to the live cd AFAIK.
