Win XP + Knoppix on the same HD!!!

I'm begin use Knoppix, I want install to HD ,help me please!
I have istalled win xp on HD particion one, can i isntall knoppix on HD (2nd particion)?

how large is it?
could you make a Swap partition there aswell? linux prefers to have a dedicated partition for swap instead of a file like win.
