DWL510G iwconfig

I have a DWL510G PCI wireless adapter running with Knoppix 3.7 using ndiswrapper with the DLINK supplied WinXP driver mrv8k51. This iis a type G adapter rated at 54 mbs.. iwconfig reports this adapter as follows:

IEEE 80211b Bit rate 6MBS

Is this a problem with iwconfig or the driver or the card ?

Is there another way to check out the card specifications ???

FWIW --- I installed the latest version of ndiswrapper 0.11 and this is what shows..
