Lilo question - no cheatcode prompt now

After installing knoppix to HD, I no longer the prompt that enables me to enter cheatcodes at boottime; instead I can only hit the arrow to select the boot option...

Isn't there a way to get lilo to enable me to type in extra cheatcodes?

Without the prompt now, the only way I know to add cheatcodes is editing /etc/lilo.conf and rerunning lilo...

Press TAB at the menu. A boot prompt will appear.
