I have a microsoft usb wireless intellipoint explorer mouse and when ever i pop in the CD and boot up knoppix the mouse will not work properly. I"m new to linux and was using knoppix to get a better understanding because i don't want to format my harddrive and repartion it. lol... but the problem is that the pointer will only move to the right and up. never in any other direction. the scrol wheel makes it do it worse. Can anyone give me a tip on what to do to fix this? I like this mouse and wouldn't really want to change it
