how does knoppix get all the promgrans compress and to run off a cd like that? cuz i would like to make programs like that you have other ons do the same like say yahoo messenger for linux on cd that is install on the cd so i could run it just like the programs on the knoppix cd.

A brief glance at the home page of this site would have easily gotten you the same information I have just pointed you to.

FYI- there are other messenger programs available.
