I have seen ther's many topics about the samme issue, but no one whit my same problem. or i haven been skilled enought to find it .

I got a XP instalation, on a pc with 2 harddisk, both NTSF. I got a F*** virus that deleted .doc .jpg .bmp .mp3 files
If i choose to believe the anti-virus it is Pawur virus, i dont compeltly trust the antivirus, becasue it did say that i was clean of virus, but two days after my fiiles disapered.

I used filescavenger to recover the data, but the program hsa a 64 kb limit. some of the .doc are back, but not the bigg ones that are the important.
papers to the university for example. i realy need those.

Looking around in the forum i used theprogram filerecovery from CONVAR. from recomendation of this tread http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtop...=recovery+data

i got a error using the program. "Access violation at adress 004BD159 in module 'filerecovery.exe' Read of address 00000071"
Seems like filerecovery dont suport NTFS.

what can i do.?

when booting from knoppix, i can only see the empty folders.
