making a cloop compressed filesystem

Hello have a question in Knoppix remastering http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.ph...masteringHowto
one of a steps is
# Now we'll make the big KNOPPIX file which is a cloop compressed ISO 9660 filesystem : mkisofs -R -U -V "KNOPPIX.net filesystem" -publisher "KNOPPIX www.knoppix.net" -hide-rr-moved -cache-inodes -no-bak -pad /mnt/hda1/knx/source/KNOPPIX | nice -5 /usr/bin/create_compressed_fs - 65536 > /mnt/hda1/knx/master/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX

but this command doesn't work in knoppix 3.6
it returns errors as well as
cleanup : remove .bash_history files, tmp files etc
can anyone help? suggest the right command

I use:

mkisofs -R /mnt/knx/KNOPPIX | create_compressed_fs - 65536 > /mnt/knx/NewCD/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX.

without option "-b" (just for test), it works much faster.

Helllo,
Thx seems to be working, only thing when i ran this command it didn't actually create a file with compressed filesystem it just went through. What could i done wrong?

it creates a compressed file in /mnt/knx/NewCD/KNOPPIX, perhaps you didn't see it ?

Then you do:

mkisofs -pad -l -r -J -v -V -joliet-long -b boot/isolinux/isolinux.bin -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -c KNOPPIX/boot.cat -hide-rr-moved -o /.../myknoppix.iso /mnt/knx/NewCD

which creates the iso-file to burn on cd. You can test it with

qemu -m 128 -cdrom /.../myknoppix.iso -boot d -user-net

Hello,
Sorry didn't have a chance to try it for one week,
The problem is whenever I try to use the first command

mkisofs -R /mnt/knx/KNOPPIX | create_compressed_fs - 65536 > /mnt/knx/NewCD/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX.

it makes an empty file in /mnt/knx/NewCD/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX

second command works after it creates an 8MB iso file.

Maybe i don't understand something, doing something wrong. Very new in this thing.
