Sorry if my english insn't too good.
My problem is that i'm trying to install gimp-2.0.1 on knoppix std (where can I find some tutorials or books about this version of knoppix?) and of course I need a lot of dependencies. First, I install pkgconfig-0.15.0. It works fine. Then I install glib-2.4.7. It works fine. Wen I'm trying to install atk-1.6.0, I get an error message ("pkg-config --modversion glib-2.0 returned 2.4.7, but GLIB 92.2.3) was found ........").
How can I uninstall the old version of glib?
I am a linux newbie
