iternet doesn't work on 3.4.3.6

Ok;
The only version that lets me use my dsl is 3.3.
on the newer version both on a via rhine 2 and a realtek onboard lan it doesn't work.
I get upto searching for local access concentrator then it says it failed to find one but 3.3 does???
any ideals???
I connect through a hub seperatly from a 98 machine with rasppoe installed it works in windows and 3.3 knoppix but not 3.4 or 3.6.

Try Kano's script for pppoe:

You need to configure your networkcard first before you run pppoe config.
