Flash Problems

I've had the same problem using flash on Firefox, Mozilla 1.7, and Konqueror(SP?), when playing flash games it seems to freeze for a second then keep going constaly throughout the duration of the flash game/site. It can be rather annoyinga nd i was wondering if their was a fix for this or if anyone else has had this same problem? Thanks!
