Tips for Wine

Ok, for all those Wine hopefulls, here's some tips:

1.) Open terminal, run winesetup, configure wine, and when finished LEAVE TERMINAL WINDOW OPEN!!
2.) Run the command winefile from the terminal.
3.) Once winefile is opened use it to navigate to your program's directory, and double click program.

Doing this will greatly increase the odds of your windows program working correctly, I have found.

What is wine and what does it have to do with windows?

Wine is an emulator for windows programs.

when I run windows programs in wine, they seem small and cramped, how do you change that?

Experiment with the display options in winesetup until you find the one that works for you.

dont drink and emulate
