Another way
Boot off the Knoppix CD
Enter command line as root by pressing "CTRL-ALT-F1" (no quotes)
Type " init 1" (this will keep you from having problems if you want to use XFS file system)
Type "knx-hdinstall"
Follow the menus on the screen

When finished type "reboot -n"
