    KDE won't log in as root. Why?

    If you really want to change in edit /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc AllowRootLogin=false to true.
    Do this from your account from root terminal. K menu-->System-->Root Terminal.

    Thanks! I'm sure that will work. Is that a feature of Knoppix 3.7 that is there just for security so people don't screw up the kernel too bad?
