Ok let me say 1st total newbie with Linux.

my pc:
HP
PII 233Mhz 96meg ram
Win 98 120gig HD- 5 partions


I`am trying Knoppix-3.2 MiB-11b Privacy Edition,

When trying to connect everything goes fine till it connects , then it disconnects- exit status 16,19
< Can not open :
/var/log/syslog.ppp
/var/log/syslog
/var/log/messages

login script debug window:

ATM1L1
OK
ATDT275-0050
CONNECT 57600

Any help would be great, I`ve checked over every page and some problems are close but not exactly the same as mine.
