BT Voyager 100 adsl usb modem

Well let me say a big hello to all the members of this forum HELLO

This is my first time at linux so i decided to try knoppix 3.7 all looks well but what i need to know is how do i get my modem working ???

Like i said this is my first crack at linuxso any instructions would be of great help !

i have not got a clue on how to go about this.. but if i can get on the net i could see myself never going back to windows

I would also like to know this, I just did a search and found this topic and that is all.
I have a BT Voyager 100 modem, and I want to make the plunge to Linux, but the Redhat 8.0 I had, and the knoppix 3.7 (?) I had didn't work with the modem. I am currently using Windows XP now so if I downloaded the drivers onto this hard drive (Windows) how would I get it to my laptop upstairs? and how do I configure it?
