Well, there are quite a few changes on the Xfree86 side, one of them is that i've attempted to add 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 resolutions for everyone. Was a nice try, but it only works for newer vidcards and detected monitors. I'll switch it back before the next release

And about the xmod problems: They might be fixed in 0.3-4, but as i don't have a vidcard with the same problem i wouldn't know :P Give it a try, if your problems still occur i could really use a number of files:
- everything in /etc/sysconfig
- a listing of lsmod
- your XF86Config-4 file
- a listing of lspci

I might release a fixed base-module without said problems, or i'll release the whole bunch over 2 weeks again. Thanks for giving it a try!
