I am new to Knoppix. I downloaded the Knoppix 3.7 iso image and burnt a CD. I have three computers (two P4 and one P3) all working fine with Windows XP. The new Knoppix CD works fine in the two P4 computers but not in the P3 computer. Knoppix caused the P3 computer reboot repeatedly after POST.

The P3 computer has the following hardware configuration:
- Asus CUVX-4 motherboard
- P3 1GHz CPU
- Teac CD-532S CD drive
- WD600BB 60G harddrive
- 384MB SDRAM
- ATI all-in-wonder 3D Rage Pro AGP video card
- xWave sound card
- Adaptec AHA-2940 scsi card
- 3Com 3C905C-TX NIC
- Motorola VoiceSurfer 56K modem

Anyone knows why this P3 computer is incompatible with Knoppix 3.7?
