I searched the web but I'm as smart as before. My problem is that I cannot use my Agfa SnapScan 1212U under kernel 2.6 (works fine with 2.4) , sane-find-scanner keeps on telling me that it could not find any scanner. Could someone please give me a hint? Thanks in advance.

Nobody here??? As it seems libusb does not find any devices on the usb bus. My /proc/bus/usb drawer is empty (of course), but /sys/bus/usb sees the scanner. I can access my cardreader via /dev/sda but not via /dev/uba (I mention it, in case it is any help).
