Maxtor SATA support in Knoppix

Here is my problem. I have a Maxtor SATA/150 PCI card, however my drive is connected to the Ultra ATA 133 port. Card has 2 SATA and 1 ATA port. When Knoppix boots, I see it loading the 2 SATA ports as SCSI1 SCSI0, but it never loads the 3rd ( middle ) port. Is there a seperate driver for this port? I know the hardware sees the drive. The drive is a Maxtor Ultra 9 Plus 250GB /133 ATA. Any help would be appreciated.

Also are there IDE channels on your logic board that you could use?

Sata on linux still has some growing pains, and you are trying to use a pci card with
IDE and SATA which might be a little exotic-good luck.
