Hi, i installed CoLinux with Knoppix 3.7 under windows 2000 like explained on this site:

my problem is: when knoppix trys detect my video card (nvidia geforce 4 ti 4200), it's "unknown" and then knoppix is unable to start x11/xfree86 server.

i tried to start knoppix with cheatcodes for example with xmodule=nv but it doesnt work.
but when i boot knoppix from cd on pc startup, knoppix detect my video card succesfully as "xfree86(nv)" and KDE is able to start.
so imo it must have something to do with colinux or with cygwin.

here are the some commandlines from the knoppix-256M.bat file, with which colinux/knoppix is started:

commandline for xwine (cygwin):
run XWin.exe -ac -multiwindow -clipboard
run xhost.exe +192.168.0.200

and commandline for colinux:
run colinux-daemon.exe kernel=vmlinux initrd=minirtcl.gz mem=%MEMORY% cobd0=\Device\Cdrom1 hdc=:cobd0 ramdisk_size=100000 lang=de xmodule=nv

does anybody has an idea how to make it work?
