Well, I got a live CD from a magazine cover of Knoppix 3.7 and it boots from the optical drive fine but the cursor is somehow dislocated in relation to the desktop. The cursor will only move around in the top left of the desktop, probably about 80% of the total area but not the bottom or right side of it. The icons cannot be clicked on with the cursor on top of them you need to be up and to left by several centimetres.

If anyone knows what to do please tell me.
