Hi,

i'm having a strange problem with my newly downloaded knoppix 3.7:

If i start knoppix normaly everything is fine.
But if i want to use my (old knoppix 3.4) configuration knoppix tells me "Error: No suitable X-Server found for your card."

I tried to tell knoppix the x-configuration of the working system during startup:

knoppix home=/mnt/hda5 config=/mnt/hda5 xmodule=nv xserver=XFree86 xdesc="NV11 (GeForce)"

but it didn't succeed to bring up th X-Server.

Could the problem have to something with the fact that i saved the configuration under knoppix 3.4?
If so, is there a possibility of "configuration conversion" ?
