    Peripherals settings

How do you activate the mouse wheel? And change the screen size?

It is advisable to read the documentation provided on the Knoppix site and you could also try the search function before asking questions that have already been answered.

This was the 1st time I ran any type of linux distro., and booted-up with the 'failsafe' option to aviod previose boot failures.

Another Question if you don't mind, I really appreciate your help.
If I unpacked the iso or copied cd to hd would it be possible to run knoppix from the hd?
Or are other distros. better for this purpose?

That is possible and is in the docs section also. Try here. The search function works well you should give it a try.

--You need to hit F2 at the boot prompt and READ THE DOCUMENTATION.
