System sounds but no internet sounds.

I got my sound working without noise, but when I go to a web site that plays sounds (games, music, etc.) I hear nothing. How can I get this working with either Mozilla or Konquerer? Will I have this problem elsewhere?

Ok, I'll amend my previous post - no sounds from Knoppix apps either (games, etc.). Thoughts?
