Not sure, but throwing it int he drive and booting up shouldn't hurt anything, and then you'd know in about 2 mnutes if it works or not.

yes, I just hd-installed knoppix to a AMD Athlon 64 3000+ system (ASUS K8V Deluxe mobo).
