    Not sure, but throwing it int he drive and booting up shouldn't hurt anything, and then you'd know in about 2 mnutes if it works or not.

    yes, I just hd-installed knoppix to a AMD Athlon 64 3000+ system (ASUS K8V Deluxe mobo).


    Works great, lightning-fast!

    have-you tried Flonix (http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15506 ) with your Athlon 64, I'm interested by that
